Emotiva BasX A7 Plus Seven-Channel Power Amplifier

The best kind of amp is the one with headroom, not the one with the highest price.

The BasX A7+ Seven-Channel Power Amplifier is a home theater amplifier built to keep your speakers clear, controlled, and confident when movies get loud and music gets dynamic. A high-current linear supply with an oversized toroidal transformer feeds a refined Class A/B output stage, while balanced XLR inputs on every channel lower noise so surround sound opens up without strain.

Connect it to an AV processor, a preamp, or an AVR with preamp outputs, the jacks labeled “PRE OUT,” via XLR or RCA. You get an easy AVR upgrade with more headroom and grip than most all-in-one receivers can manage. The A7+ drives 8 or 4 ohm speakers, accepts banana, spade, or bare wire, wakes with a 12V trigger, and protects itself transparently. A steel chassis and aluminum faceplate keep it solid, and their 3 Year warranty keeps you covered.

Common uses

• Power a full 7.1 surround sound setup with real headroom
• Take the strain off your receiver with an AVR upgrade
• Drive bed-layer channels in Atmos or DTS:X systems

Features

Audiophile Power Without the Premium Price

The BasX A7+ is a seven-channel Class A/B power amp with a heavy-duty linear supply and oversized toroidal transformer, built for real control and headroom in real rooms. It delivers honest, all-channels-driven performance, so movie peaks stay effortless without needing a luxury price tag.

Built Solid, Inside and Out

A rigid steel chassis and milled aluminum faceplate keep the amp solid and quiet. Inside, quality boards, smart layout, and careful component choices reduce noise and heat, which means cleaner backgrounds and years of reliable service.

Connect It Your Way, XLR or RCA

Connect your gear your way. Every channel includes balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA, so it plays nicely with AV processors and AVRs that have preamp outputs. Five-way binding posts accept banana plugs, spades, or bare wire, and 12V trigger in and out makes power-up seamless.

Ready for 115 or 230 VAC

Plug in anywhere with confidence. The A7+ auto-detects 115 or 230 VAC at 50 or 60 Hz, so setup is simple and travel-proof.
